Ten were charged following an undercover federal investigation for allegedly selling crack cocaine and cocaine in the Hudson Valley.

On Friday in Southern District of New York Court, an indictment charging 10 with participating in a narcotics conspiracy in Sullivan County was unsealed.

According to the indictment, in at least 2017 and 2018, Jhoan Adames, 29, Rolando Nieves, 31, Jason Nieves-Pino, 27, Jose Nieves-Herrera, 49, Jose Rubert, 52, Pervis Marcus, 56, Justin Fabricant, 30, Anicasio Hernandez, 40, Osvaldo Mangualbonet, 47, and Frank Velez, 49, conspired to sell drugs in the Hudson Valley.

In particular, Nieves, Nieves-Pino, Nieves-Herrera, Rubert and Marcus sold 280 grams or more of crack cocaine and 500 grams or more of cocaine. Adames and Velez conspired to sell 280 grams or more of crack cocaine and Fabricant, Hernandez and Mangualbonet conspired to sell 500 grams or more of cocaine.

The group sold the crack cocaine and cocaine in different locations in Sullivan County including the parking lot of an apartment complex in the Village of Monticello, police say.

During the course of this investigation, undercover law enforcement allegedly purchased more than 280 grams of crack cocaine and more than 100 grams of powder cocaine from members of the group.
