Colin Dickerman was in the process of building a home in Glen Spey's Black Forest Colony.

It was last May that his soon-to-be home was destroyed by a suspicious fire. Authorities conducted an investigation and the results were inconclusive.

Dickerman decided to rebuild the home, and the house was destroyed for a second time by a fire Feb. 1. Like the first time, the house was burned to the ground.

The two fires have been deemed highly suspicious by fire and police investigators.

To think about the emotional distress and financial burden that this would cause is just ridiculous. Now, Dickerman and his partner Peter feel unsafe, and that the fires were a personal attack on them. They have lost peace of mind, their sense of safety, and their dreams of living there are dwindling.

Friends, neighbors, and family of Colin and Peter are rallying in a fight for justice. They are offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful proscution of the person or people responsible for the fires. Anyone with information regarding the case should contact the State Police in Liberty at (845) 292-6600 and ask for Senior Investigator Jan Golding or Investigator Kurt Labuda.

All calls will be kept confidential.
