We never got a "Shaun Of The Dead" sequel, but we might be getting a sequel to another great zombie comedy movie.

"Zombieland" is not just a great zombie movie, but an amazing comedy movie too. The characters worked perfectly together, the actors were seamless in their roles. The Bill Murrary cameo was genius and the whole plot was damn near perfect. It was so stupidly good that they even made it into an Amazon Exclusive TV Series. If you remember the movie, they had "Zombie Kill of the Week", and apparently it was supposed to be a full series from the get go, but I believe it was killed in the developmental stage.

I'm stupid glad that they made the movie, and I'm RIDICULOUSLY happy that the writers (who also wrote Deadpool) stopped by Kevin Smith's show "Geeking Out" and dropped some stories about how they landed Bill Murray in the original movie, and confirmed they were working on the sequel and talking to the original cast.

Now, remember that "Zombieland" came out in 2009. 7 years ago! Imagine all the amazing stuff that could have gone on in their post-zombie apocalypse world! If it's anything like the first, the second is going to be hysterical and I can only hope everyone from the original gets on board.
