First off. The "Star Wars" theme song is so freaking awesome it's a part of our collective unconscious. You can't NOT know it, and I don't care where I am or who I'm with, when I hear the song I hum or sing along. Guaranteed.

Second, if you can hit that high note on an instrument, you're a g*ddamn bad ass. Even Williams thought so!

Bryce Hayashi and Michael Miller apparently loved the piece of music so much, they took their instruments and stood in front of John Williams house to play it. Williams, who will be referred to for the rest of this articles as THE MAN, came out to his porch to listen to it and then came out to say hi and greet the kids after they were done. THE MAN apparently lives in a normal neighborhood with no security, as if he wasn't the greatest music composer in cinema history.

That takes some guts! Good on those kids to set up shop, belt out an awesome song and then stand there while they meet a musical great. Thanks to THE MAN for being a nice guy and saying hello to kids who obviously loved his work enough to do something slightly embarrassing.

Now if we could only get Galactic Empire to set up outside THE MAN'S house. I'd like to see his reaction.
