Here's how you can help those impacted by a raging fire in the Hudson Valley that killed 28 animals.

On Saturday around 3 a.m., a raging fire broke out on the grounds at Mount Hope Training Center in Middletown.

Twenty-eight horses were killed in the fire, according to the New York Post.

The horses are harness-racing horses, many raced the evening prior in the Poconos.

A GoFundMe was started to help the trainers impacted by the fatal fire.

"A trainer lost everything in the fire all his equipment horse trailer and all of his horses parishes (sic) in the fire .. please donate what you can to help him rebuild," Monica Eriksen wrote on the GoFundMe.

A trainer who lost 21 horses in the fire told NBC the animals weren't insured.

"They were part of my life. I just wish people would understand that, yes, they're animals, but you get attached to them," Don Billings said.
