On Monday, State Police announced the arrests of three people, two from Dutchess County, on separate felony DWI charges.

State Police from Wappinger arrested 27-year-old Henry P. King, of Beacon, for felony driving while intoxicated. Police say King was stopped for failing to yield the right of way and speeding. Police allege an investigation determined he was intoxicated at the time of the stop. King was charged a felony DWI when a criminal history showed a previous DWI related conviction from June of 2014.

State Police from Wappinger allege 54-year-old Jeremy K. Schokman, of Poughquag, was pulled over for speeding and failing to maintain his designated lane of travel on Route 9. An investigation revealed that he was operating the vehicle with a revoked driver’s license due to a previous DWI related arrest and was intoxicated at the time of the stop. Scokman was charged with driving while intoxicated and 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies.

State Police from Cortlandt arrested 28-year-old Melissa Yambo, of Yorktown, for driving while intoxicated, a felony. State Police allege Yambo was stopped for speeding. She provided a breath sample which yielded a .17% blood alcohol level.
All three were issued traffic tickets directing them to appear in court at a later date.
