Four days after three people were stabbed, two who were in critical condition, a teenager from the Hudson Valley is accused of stabbing all three.

Eric Martine, 19, of the hamlet of Wallkill was charged with two counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies.

On Tuesday just before 9:15 p.m., Town of Wallkill police responded to the Orange Regional Medical Center for a report of an assault.

Upon arrival, the officer discovered three victims who were all being treated for stab wounds.

Justin Michel, 26, from the Town of Wallkill and 18-year-old Cameron Leath from Pine Bush were listed in critical condition. Michel was
stabbed in his torso. Leath in his torso, arm and leg.

Dyllan Valer-Chabut, 19, of Wawayanda was treated and released for stab wounds to his leg and arm

It was initially believed that the three were stabbed during an altercation earlier Tuesday evening at Woodstock Park in the Town of Wallkill. However, as police investigation further it was determined that the event happened on Oregon Trail in the Town of Shawangunk, police say.

State Police continued with the investigation after the Town of Wallkill Police Department determined the incident occurred outside of their jurisdiction. Martine is accused of stabbing all three during a physical altercation.

Martine was arraigned in the Town of Shawangunk Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail pending a future court appearance.

On Wednesday, two of the victims remained at the Orange Regional Medical Center in critical condition. State Police tells Hudson Valley Post that as of Saturday one person was released, while the other remains hospitalized. Their names were not released.
