Two separate search warrants in Orange County led to four arrests and the discovery of over 110 grams of cocaine, heroin, marijuana and more.

On Wednesday around 3:15 p.m., following an investigation into drug sales, City Of Newburgh police conducted a search warrant at a home on West Street in the City of Newburgh.

Officers searched the home and allegedly found 36.5 grams of cocaine, 7.2 grams of heroin, two grams of marijuana and drug packing materials.

Felony charges against two other individuals were later dismissed.

On Thursday, City of Newburgh police and Town of New Windsor police conducted a search warrant at 70 Grove Street in the City of Newburgh.

Inside the home around 104 grams of cocaine, 2.5 grams of marijuana and drug packaging materials were found, police say.

Joel Alvarez, 28, of the City of Newburgh was charged with two-counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and misdemeanors for criminally using drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child.

All four were held pending arraignment in City of Newburgh Court.
