We've all heard the stories of kids who get punished in school for simulating violence. Usually it involves toy guns, but in some more bizarre instances, it involves a kid biting a Pop Tart into the shape of a gun and pointing it at a classmate.

This case is a strange one, though: a little boy has been suspended from school for pretending to shoot a bow and arrow.

If that sounds crazy to you, that's because it kind of is. I mean, we don't even know it was a bow and arrow! It was air! Look, he could have been pantomiming playing the cello, or starting a lawnmower, or doing an impression of Ralph Kramden from beloved 1950s American sitcom The Honeymooners (which, if you don't know, is about the existentially unhappy obese bus driver Ralph Kramden and his dopey best friend concocting wild schemes to get rich, between which Kramden repeatedly threatens to punch his wife so hard she flies to the moon. For real, this is a beloved piece of Americana. Imagine that being pitched today).

Okay he's a 6-year-old boy, so yeah, of course he wasn't doing any of those things. But seriously, suspending him?
