Wednesday was a very wet day.  The Hudson Valley saw lots of heavy rains, some places up to two inches.  Good news, Drier air is moving into the Hudson Valley for Thursday.  Also, the humidity will start to subside too.

The Hudson Valley won’t see sunshine again until Friday.  Thursday will still be cloudy and bit humid.  Temperatures will top out in the mid 80’s.  Still can’t rule out a few showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  A cold front will finally push in the area on Saturday.  That will usher in sunshine for the Hudson Valley.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Thursday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 84.  Showers likely, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon.

Thursday night:  Partly cloudy, low around 68.  A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms early.

Friday:  Partly sunny, high near 87.  Isolated showers, then scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late morning.
