A New, Thinner Oreo?

Is it blasphemy or genus? You be the judge! Nabisco has announced a new, lower calorie version of their infamous Oreo Cookie. Oreo Thins which will hit shelves next week are designed to be more "Adult" friendly...meaning they don't pack the same calorie punch as their bigger brother, classic Oreo. Four Oreo Thins will have approximately 140 calories compared to classic Oreo which has 160 in only three cookies.

But how do they drop the calories which out losing the yummy flavor? By cutting the fat...well not really the fat but the part that makes the Oreo a little heftier and well maybe your waistline as well. The Oreo Thin will be just that, thinner..they will have less cream in the center and aren't designed to twist and lick or dunk like the classic Oreo. At this point...im thinking whats the point! But you be the judge!

Oreo Thins will come in original, mint and golden flavors.
