Last week we shared that the Mid Hudson Children's Museum in Poughkeepsie was going to be hosting a free night of play, with pizza, for families impacted by the government shutdown.  Well, with the continued shutdown, and as a result of the success of the first one, MHCM ha teamed up with Amici's Restaurant to once again offer a buffet dinner, conversation, and playtime for the kids.

The event is happening Wednesday, January 16th from 5pm until 8pm.  Those who attended the first event are more than welcome to attend again, as are newcomers.  The offer is the same as last time, "free admission to the event is for two adults (one of whom must be a federal employee) and their children living in same household. Couples, singles and seniors without children are also welcome to attend this event and join us for dinner, conversation and play."  More information about the event can be found HERE.

Though the event is free, those planning to attend must pre-register by calling the museum at 845.471.0589, or by visiting the online registration site: http://bit.ly/MHCMFederalFreeNight.
