Could we be in for a repeat of the Halloween snowstorm of 2011? Well, the snowfall wouldn't be that severe if we did get it, but a wintry Halloween isn't out of the picture. The National Weather Service forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of rain or snow on Friday night in the Hudson Valley and a chilly overnight low of 36 degrees. This snowy weather system could last into Saturday with a 40 percent chance of rain or snow during the day and a 30 percent chance of snow at night. The high for Saturday will be 42 and the overnight low will be--brrr--29 degrees.

The Vane, Gawker Media's weather blog, says it may still be too early to tell if a snowstorm will bear out, but with multiple models predicting it, snowfall is more likely than not.

Will the potential for a Friday night snowstorm affect your Halloween plans?
