This summer Stewart International Airport will welcome the Inaugural New York Air Show, the first major air show for the airport since 2003. Last week Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus made the big announcement.

“This is a major win for Orange County Tourism and businesses,” Neuhaus stated in a press conference thursday. “It also highlights the benefits of Stewart International Airport"

The New York Air Show is expected to be a big boost to the local economy and bring in thousands of visitors. The show will feature three military branches and also welcome The West Point Parachute Team. The two-day event will highlight military history that runs deep in the Hudson Valley along with several different types of Army helicopters and other military aircraft.

The New York Air Show will take place two months from today, August 29th-30th. Discounted tickets and VIP tickets are now on sale through July 6th! To purchase tickets and to learn more about the New York Air Show, visit www.airshowny.com.
