Acclaimed character actor and Warwick resident James Cromwell, known for his roles in BabeL.A. Confidential, and American Horror Story to name just a few, was a member of the Wawayanda 6. They were a group of six people who were arrested in 2015 for protesting the construction of a power plant in Orange County.

Now, Cromwell is at it again. The actor crashed a Democratic Party fundraiser in Manhattan which was attended by the likes of Andrew Cuomo and Nancy Pelosi. Cromwell was told to leave because of the sign he was carrying, which called for Cuomo to ban the use of Pennslyvania fracked gas at the power plant that we was originally protesting.

The actor, who was also in films like The Green MileSpider-Man 3, and I, Robot (seriously, this dude's resumè is long), has had lots of run-ins in recent years for similar situations. Last year, he was arrested, along with 19 others, in Watkins Glen for protesting underground gas storage in Seneca Lake.

Cromwell blames his getting kicked out of the fundraiser on the democrats, calling them a divided party that "stifles debate and dissent." He and the Wawayanda 6 are going to court today for sentencing in their arrest case.

That'll do, pig. That'll do. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)
