Amy’s Frozen Foods Involved In Recall

Another day brings us unfortunately news of another food recall. This time for Amy’s products.

They are voluntarily recalling approximately 73,897 cases of select frozen food products. This is because Amy’s was notified by one of their organic spinach suppliers that they may have received organic spinach with the possible presence of Listeria, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, nausea and diarrhea. Amy’s Kitchen is not aware of any illness complaints related to the recalled products but they are issuing the recall out of an abundance of caution.
