It seems giving away your home via an essay contest might becoming a trend -- a trend many seem to like.

Another home is up for grabs to one lucky winner who can write their heart out. According to Travel & Leisure, a couple in upstate New York is looking to give away their two-bedroom vacation home in the Catskills.

Andrew Bares and Kelly Lavorgna are looking for one deserving wordsmith who would be willing to take on their "cozy" cabin in Bethel, New York. The rustic retreat sits on 5.5 acres and includes a 250-foot sandy beach along the Swinging Bridge Reservoir.

Don't let the term cabin fool you. This stunning home is perfect for everyone, whether you're looking to relax in front of your floor to ceiling fire place or ready to host a large gathering for family and friends on your giant outdoor deck that offers majestic views. For me, I'll be chilling around the cozy outdoor fire pit.

If this sounds like the dream to you then grab your pen and paper or a computer and get writing. The couple is looking for a 200 word essay explaining how owning the lakefront property would change your life. Those interested in entering must do so through the contest website by midnight EST on April 30.

There are some important things to know before you start scrolling away. There is an entry free of $149 and the owners are stipulating that they need at least 5,500 entries for the contest to move forward (after all, nothing is truly free). If they don't receive enough entries, contestants will receive $100 refund ($49 fee held for processing of course). The winner must also be able to pay for the property taxes, which are roughly $11,000 per year.

Best of luck to all the ambitions wordsmiths out there. If you win all I ask is you let me use the place a couple weekends during the summer...I think that's only fair.
