Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness Leave Their Mark On Poughkeepsie [Photos]

Thursday April 7th will be remembered as the day Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness rocked out in Poughkeepsie. The band came to the Hudson Valley for a show at The Chance Theater. Before the show Andrew stopped by Darkside Records to treat fans to a four song warm-up set, then he took pictures and signed autographs for everyone in attendance.

Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness released their self titled album in July of 2014. While Andrew has begun working on new music, there has been no word regarding any potential new albums. Cecilia and the Satelite was the lead single from the album and is their most successful song to date. The song was written for his young baby daughter. Here's footage of Andrew performing 'Cecilia' as part of the WRRV Atrium concert series.

Andrew is no stranger to town, having made Poughkeepsie famous with a line from a song he wrote with a previous band, Something Corporate.
