App Download Lands WRRV Listener $250

The simple act of downloading the new WRRV mobile app and entering a contest through it earned one lucky listener $250. Congratulations are in order for Sean Landolfa from Highland.

Just before the holidays we launched our 'Flash Your Bulbs' contest. The objective was to have listeners take pictures of Christmas lights in their area and submit the photo and video through the app. We received tons of great selections, some quite horrifically bad. Sadly, and this may come as a shock to you, some should probably forget about decorating entirely.

The WRRV mobile app is available in both the Apple and Google Play stores so you can pick it up whether you have an iPhone or a Droid. You can take advantage of the live stream of the station, enter contests and check out the latest video content all the palm of your hand. I think my favorite part is how easy it is to hook up to my car radio when I'm out of the area so I can stream the station.
