Artist You Should Know: City and Colour

Alternative music has this great bluesy/soul bent lately. From Hozier to Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats, alt rock is really getting to a fantastic place. Depths of the soul type stuff, and the fans are responding. Both of those songs have been on top of radio charts all over the country this year.

City and Colour is Dallas Green, former lead singer of Alexis On Fire. I LOVED Alexis On Fire. They're that band that brought me over to the singer/screamer combo of hard rock, and my life has never been the same since they went on hiatus.

Dallas has gone a much more low-key route, and this latest song has the potential to destroy music charts for months.
