In honor of Autism Awareness Month The New York Mets are joining forces with Autism Speaks to present a special day at the ball park.

This Sunday, May1st will be Autism Awareness Day at Citi Field. You can give back to an amazing cause and enjoy a great day of baseball as the Mets as they take on the San Francisco Giants. In addition to helping raise funds for a wonderful organization the event will also help shed light on a disorder that now affects 1 in 68 American children.

The event welcomes all who wish to enjoy a day at the ball park but with some unique touches. Organizers have made great considerations for those with autistic family members to ensure a wonderful time for all. Special additions include early gate entry, a pre-game party in Bullpen Plaza with fun-filled areas offering art therapy projects, karate demonstrations and even a cozy corner for children in need of a quite reprieve from the game.

Special arrangements have also been made for seating areas. Left Field Landing and select Promenade Outfield seats will be areas designated exclusively for guest with autistic family members. Volume in the section will be lowered in addition to other fan-friendly adjustments.

Hurry and get your tickets now through this exclusive pre-sale for the event. For every ticket sold through the advanced purchase offer the New York Mets will make a donation to Autism Speaks.
