Sometimes you just don't have enough money to partake in everything. Finding ways to save money is good but what if you really want to enjoy yourself. Being cost effective is key when surviving on limited income.

When the partial eclipse took place over the Hudson Valley I scrambled to find the appropriate eye wear for such an event. Not planning ahead I found myself unable to view our life giving ball of fire without burning my retinas.

With little to no boy scout training I attempted a makeshift version of solar shades. My hilarious attempt at science was about as underwhelming as the partial eclipse itself. Still, it was a worthy attempt and I remain unhindered in my quest for cost effective happiness.

Ballin' on a Budget might have to be a regular mission of mine and whether my methods are effective or not you can rest assured they will be publicly documented for future generations of internet users to study.
