Will you be traveling this holiday? Do you know that the airlines have made a few changes to the things that you can and cannot bring on the plane either as checked baggage or as carry-on.

According to CNBC, Delta, Jet Blue and British Airlines have all decided that passengers cannot bring the hover-boards either on board as carry on luggage or as checked baggage.

The reason that they site as to why you can't bring them on? The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recently announced that they has been 10 reports of fires because of the batteries that are in the hoverboards. The batteries in the boards are rechargeable ion batteries and according to the airlines, the batteries can catch fire if they come in close proximity to metal objects, including keys, coins or any other metal object that you might have with you.

Will this have you canceling your request for a hover-board with Santa?
