Band Gone Too Soon: Envy On The Coast

I LOVE this band. Envy on the Coast, from Long Island.

They spent a few years and EP's building up a following and a catalog, and then they burst into the big time with their album "LOWCOUNTRY", and it was freaking amazing. It's still one of those albums I listen to from beginning to end. It crashes around, it hits ridiculous highs and slams through lows. The guitar work, the vocals. EVERYTHING. It's all on point.

And then they broke up in July of 2010.

Bands break up for a million reasons and I'm sure they had plenty. I just wish they were still around.
