Here's a band I wish was still around, Envy On The Coast. Lowcounty from Envy on the Coast hit stores in March of 2010. By July of the same year, they announced they were no more.

Hailing from Long Island, EOTC was part of the post-hardcore scene that gave birth to bands like Taking Back Sunday. They toured with TBS, The Fall Of Troy, and sounded freaking awesome doing it.

Lowcountry is genius. Honestly one of my favorite albums in the past decade. The highs and lows, the guitar work, the attention to detail. How they can change from delicate fret work to heavy distortion and back again is just fantastic.

The members have moved onto other things, such as "North Korea", "NK" and "Quiett Dog" and I wish them all the luck in the world. But sometimes I wish we'd get something new from EOTC. Just a little.
