The Hudson Valley comes alive each spring with all kinds of fun things to do outdoors. One of the more unique experiences is a tour of Bannerman Island.

Set to resume in May, you may want to consider booking in advance, as each of the eight dates is expected to sell out. Departures will happen from both Newburgh and Beacon aboard the Estuary Steward. There will be two tours each day, the first departing at 11 AM and returns at 2 PM while the second departs at 12:30 and returns at 3:30.

Each tour aboard the island includes a walking tour where you'll learn all about the history of the island and the progress that's been made in recent years. This year you'll be able to access parts of the island that were previously not accessible to the public. Here is a list of the tour dates announced so far.
