After winning their lawsuit against Monster, the Beasties are coming back for more.

The high-profile lawsuit between the Beastie Boys and Monster Energy over the use of several Beasties songs in a promotional video was decided last June, but Mike D and Ad-Rock are now asking for more cash, this time to cover their expenses:

The Beastie Boys want to force the maker of Monster Energy drink to pay nearly $2.4 million in legal fees and costs so the rappers' $1.7 million jury award is not dwarfed by expenses in a copyright violation case, lawyers say.

A Manhattan federal court jury awarded the group most of the $2 million it requested at a June trial, but that was not enough to cover costs that lawyers said were worsened by the actions of the Corona, California-based Monster Energy Co., the musicians' lawyers said in papers filed in Manhattan federal court.

The Beasties claim that Monster refused to "engage in good-faith negotiations," among other shady business practices, which significantly ramped up the cost of legal fees.

It's bad enough the Knicks are so awful, now they've been screwed out of millions of dollars by a major corporation? This is a rough few months for the guys.

Let's all enjoy some Check Your Head:
