If you're still “Feelin the Bern,” and want to see Bernie Sanders in the Hudson Valley, well you are in luck!

Former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is scheduled to join congressional candidate Zephyr Teachout for a rally in New Paltz on Friday.

The rally is scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m., at Hasbrouck Park in New Paltz. Tickets aren’t required, but Teachout’s campaign is strongly encourage you RSVP. Admission will be first come firs serve.

Teachout’s campaign is promoting the rally on the campaign's website as an “historic event.” A chance to hear Vermont Senator, “Bernie Sanders and Zephyr Teachout discuss the important issues facing our communities and our country.”

Teachout, who lives in Dutchess County, is running against Republican John Faso for the 19th Congressional District. The district includes Dutchess, Ulster, Columbia and Greene counties. She went up against Gov. Andrew Cuomo in a 2014 Democratic primary.

In April, while campaigning for President, Sanders held a rally at Marist College. Hudson Valley Post was at the historic rally in April, you can learn more about the event at Marist in the video below.
