Bernie Williams, the former New York Yankee outfielder who also happens to be an accomplished guitarist, is coming to the Hudson Valley.

The beloved Bernie is going to be apart of Pattern for Progress' Annual Fall Reception, which will be November 9 at Anthony's Pier 9 on Route 9W in New Windsor.

The Poughkeepsie Journal says that Williams will be jamming out with his band and answering questions for fans, as Pattern for Progress celebrates their fifty first anniversary.

Williams, who has released two records, earned a bachelor’s degree in jazz composition from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in May.

He also spent all sixteen years of his Major League career in the Bronx, where he was a five time All-Star, as well as earning four Gold Gloves, while helping the Yankees win four World Series.
