If you plan to attend any shows at Bethel Woods this summer they have changed their policy on what you can bring inside the venue.

Bethel Woods announced today on Facebook that they have a new bag policy for 2017 that starts at the first show this year on June 16 and will continue all season long.

If you go to a show this year you will be able to carry only the following style and size bag, package, or container into the venue and will be subject to an extended security search:

  • Totes that are clear bags made of plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." Items in the bag must be in clear plastic bag like a Ziploc bag.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag.
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.

An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Please contact security at least 24 hours in advance to request an exception at 845-583-2062.

There is also a list of things that you cannot bring into Bethel Woods: purses larger than a clutch bag, hard or soft coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

If you go to a show this year and you travel light, they will have express entry lanes available.
