This week Brandi's Future Husband:
  • Loves animals
  • Energy minded
  • Goes to great lengths for the ones he loves
My future husband this week is named Kermit Blackwood and he is from Vermont. He has spent the last few weeks dealing with loose Emu’s. Three had managed to get out; one had been found destroyed by another animal. A second was found in a town nearby. One named Beatrice had still been missing.

It wasn’t until he heard about a non-profit animal rescue about 80 miles away in New Hampshire, recently finding an emu, that he started to have hope that it was his. Kermit got into his Toyota Prius, and drove the 80 miles to see if it was her.

When he got into the area where the birds were kept, Beatrice immediately recognized Kermit, and the reunion was complete. One of the workers from the rescue was able to help him get the seats down in the back of the Prius, and the reunited two were able to drive back to Vermont safe and sound.  Beatrice was apparently just fine during the 90 minute ride back home.
Was Beatrice so happy that she was dancing? Wait, can Emu's dance? Here is video to show us if they can:
