Blink-182 fans didn't know what to expect after the year the guys had in 2015. And if you asked what 2016 would bring, i'm sure it wasn't that  new music was on the horizon. BUT miracles apparently do happen!  Not only will there be new tunes headed our way but there will be a new Blinker jamming on the record!

Not news you would expect because as you know last year lead vocalist Tom DeLonge had what some may call...a breakdown. Being all crazy and stuff it was clear things we'rent going to well with the band and subsequently he and band mates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker parted ways. The guys even telling Rollingstone that DeLonge was “disrespectful and ungrateful” for backing out of the bands future commitments, which had included heading back into the studio to record a new record. At that point we fans were sad!

But now there is hope! According to Consequence of Sound Travis Barker has confirmed via Instagram that a new album is on the way in 2016 and that Matt Skiba will be joining them on the record. Although Skiba isn't really "new" to the band as he jumped on-board to help the guys on their remaining tour dates in 2015, it is great news to see they will be moving forward.

There is no official word on when we can expect to hear the new tunes but I think I speak for all Blink fans when I say ..."I just can't wait" :)
