Here's something for all the theater geeks in the Hudson Valley: the critically-acclaimed Broadway musical Fun Home is making its way to Rhinebeck.

For those uninitiated, Fun Home is a musical that debuted on Broadway in 2015 based on the life of cartoonist Alison Bechdel. It won a bunch of Tonys that year, including Best Musical. It's a beloved show, and now a production of it is taking place right here in the Hudson Valley.

Starting tonight, Fun Home will run for several weekends in June at the Center for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck. Tickets cost $20 to $27, though tickets available at the door on Friday night performances will be based on a Pay What You Can model.

The Center for Performing Arts has been a great place to see a show for years (I've gone for Young FrankensteinAmerican Idiot, and Girlfriend From Hell, and they were all excellent). Will you be stopping by to see Fun Home?
