Want to buy a mall? You can. Today. In Newburgh.

The Newburgh Mall will go up for auction today at 10 a.m. The auction will take place in the third-floor lobby of the Orange County Courthouse. Foreclosure proceedings were begun in 2012 by Wells Fargo.

According to the Times Herald Record, the bank holds a nearly $39 million lien against the property, which is off Route 300. The mall has struggled for years as new retail businesses, including a Walmart, opened along the Route 300 corridor.
