Bystanders Pull Woman Out of Burning Car After 10-Car Pileup on Route 17

Just about everyone's worst nightmare, a highway pile up.

It's one of those things that when I'm traveling, is always in the back of mind.

According to Fox 5, a major car accident was caught on dash cam video and not only showed the terrifying moments of a 10 car pile up but also shows that their still are some good people in the world.

It took place on Route 17 up towards Binghamton last Thursday and yes this video is scary to watch but also uplifting to see bystanders save the life of a woman involved in the accident. As you will see, they really do save her life by pulling her out of her car that has caught on fire. The woman suffered only some cuts and bruises and thanfully nobody was killed in the accident.

Binghamton police told Fox that a tractor trailer's faulty brakes contributed to the accident, but they were not the cause of it.

Police are also using this video to try and identify the heroes.
