The rumors are sad but true! Cadbury officials confirmed that their delectable, delicious, amazingly awesome creme eggs will no longer be made in true Cadbury tradition. BUT before you think to yourself..."I cant go on!" (like I did) the recipe change is only for eggs being produced in the UK. THANK GOD!  A rep for Mondelez International, a spinoff of Kraft Foods (who bought the Cadbury company back in 2010 for 19 BILLION dollars) claims th eggs will still me perfectly yummy

"We have always used a range of milk chocolate blends for different products, depending on their shape or consistency," the spokeswoman said. "The fundamentals of the Cadbury Crème Egg remain exactly the same -- delicious milk chocolate and the unique creme centre that consumers love."

In the original formula the eggs mouth watering shell was always made with Cadbury's signature Dairy Milk chocolate. Now according to officials the new recipe will use  "a standard, traditional Cadbury milk chocolate,". Standard, standard! Yuck! I don't know about you but if I lived in the UK I'd probably start packing my bags! Standard! Gross! Enjoy the good stuff while you can Americans, who knows when the "standard" stuff may infiltrate our "signature Dairy Milk chocolate". Stock up!
