Amazon.com has made a commitment to hiring 50,000 people with allegedly tens of thousands of them to be full-time jobs. August 2, 2017 is considered by Amazon to be 'hiring' day. They are asking you to come to one of their US fulfillment centers to tour the facility and apply for the job. Here are the locations of their nationwide fulfillment centers:

  • Baltimore, Maryland
  • Fall River, Massachusetts
  • Buffalo, New York
  • Chattanooga, Tennessee
  • Romeoville, Illinois
  • Hebron, Kentucky
  • Kent, Washington
  • Etna, Ohio
  • Whitestown, Indiana
  • Kenosha, Wisconsin
  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
  • Robbinsville, New Jersey

How Amazon wants you to dress when you interview for a job, (from their website):

  • Long hair must be pinned or tied up to a length that does not exceed the top of the shoulder. Beards may not exceed three inches from the face without being tied up or netted

  • Extraneous articles hanging from clothing, such as chains or drawstrings, can cause a safety-risk and are prohibited

  • We ask guests to wear flat, closed-toe and closed-heel shoes.

  • Jewelry that dangles or protrudes from the body may come in contact with machinery and result in a safety hazard
