Being the victim of a carjacking must be one of the more terrifying and traumatic experiences one can endure. I mean, take the incredibly uncomfortable and vulnerable and violated feeling you get when something of yours is stolen or broken into it and compound it with the fact that you're facing someone threatening to kill or harm you and you've got yourself a bad day.

And if your kid is in the car, I can imagine that makes it worse by orders of magnitude.

But in this case, while the carjackers are undoubtedly terrible people, at least they have a healthy respect for the importance and power of education.
