The Catskill Game Farm is expanding.

The once abandoned game farm and popular vacation destination for Hudson Valley residents has spent the past few years making the land beautiful again.

Recently the Catskill Game Farm has opened their doors for self-guided tours and "glamping" overnight. They have converted what used to be The Big Cat exhibit to a campsite for you to relive your best memories at the Game Farm.

This July they will opening up a new attraction of sorts. The Game Farm hopes to reopen the Giraffe House, but with no giraffes. They plan on opening the Long Neck Inn. In a press release they state that the Inn will have 5 guest rooms and each room  "will be named for animals who once inhabited The Catskill Game Farm and a portion of each nights stay will go towards a foundation for each animals namesake."

Reservations can be made starting in March.

Along with the inn, camping and self guided tours the Game Farm will also host a photography workshop with Abandoned USA on May 4th.

Registration is required for self guided tours and the photography workshop. You can sign up and find more information at the Catskill Game Farm's official website.
