Michael Douglas, Bobby Flay, Sigourney Weaver and other celebrities are talking about their favorite places in the Hudson Valley.

A new series of commercials feature some big name celebrities promoting tourism in our area for Fall. In the Bobby Flay commercial, the famed celebrity chef talks about many of the beverage and food destinations in our area including Millbrook Vineyards and Winery.

Another commercial is voiced by Michael Douglas and features some sweeping views of the Walkway Over the Hudson.

Sigourney Weaver is featured in a third commercial that talks about some of the state's best parks. The Adirondacks are featured prominently and described by Weaver as her favorite for "hiking, camping, fishing... you name it."

A final promotional video that seems to be just produced for YouTube features "48 Hours in the Hudson Valley" and showcases just some of the places to experience Fall in our area. The Village of Rhinebeck and Sauterties Lighthouse are two of the places suggested for visitors' Fall weekend checklist.

What do you think about these advertisements? Do they do a good job showing off our home to the rest of the area? If you didn't live here, would they make you want to come and visit?
