The weather pattern for the Hudson Valley is dry and chilly for the rest of the week.  Thursday’s weather will be sunny and breezy again. Temps will be a bit chilly, only in the upper 40’s.  Friday temps will try to hit in the low 50’s again.

High pressure will exit the Hudson Valley for the weekend as a storm system tracks northward Friday night into the weekend.  That system will bring widespread rain and mountain snow, along with gusty winds. A chance of rain stays in the forecast for most of next week.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Thursday:  Sunny and breezy.  High near 47.  Moderate Northwest wind.

Thursday Night:  Mostly clear, with a low around 33.

Friday:  Partly sunny, with a high near 52. Light south wind.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, low around 35.  Rain and snow move in during early morning hours.

Saturday: Rain and snow, becoming all rain after 11am. High near 46.
