Church Of Satan Endorses Actor Christian Bale’s Golden Globe Win
The Poughkeepsie-based Church of Satan endorsed actor Christian Bale's Golden Globe win on Monday. Bale won for best actor in a Motion Picture for his portrayal of former Vice President Dick Cheney in the movie Vice. He thanked Satan for giving him the inspiration to play the role, and wouldn't you know, the followers of Lucifer were right there to support him via Twitter.
To us, Satan is a symbol of pride, liberty and individualism, and it serves as an external metaphorical projection of our highest personal potential. As Mr. Bale's own talent and skill won him the award, this is fitting. Hail Christian! Hail Satan! https://t.co/ILuK8TFZXi
The Church of Satan was founded in 1966 and after finding a home in San Francisco and New York City, they moved to the Hudson Valley in 2001. Membership details are kept private but we do know this, Christian Bale would be welcome to attend a service anytime.
