It will be another day until we get back into a cooler and drier weather pattern. Then the forecast discussion calls for more unsettled weather Friday night into the day on Saturday; with that, we could see some heavier rains. There may be a break Saturday night into Sunday morning but then the wet weather is back at it again Sunday afternoon and night. It’s way too early to start placing bets on heavy rain for the weekend.

In the next few days, Thursday looks like the nicest of the weather days. Even a slight northwest wind will make 80 feel quite comfortable.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Wednesday: Mostly Cloudy, with a chance of showers. Nothing too bad, mainly between 8am and 5pm.  High near 67.

Wednesday night: Mostly Cloudy with isolated showers, low near 54.

Thursday: Partly Sunny, a light wind, high near 80.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, low around 55.

Friday: Cloudy with a chance of rain. High 63.
