Several different weather systems will affect the Hudson Valley’s weather Friday into Saturday.  A low-pressure system will be impacting the region.  A warm front will continue to move into the Hudson Valley Friday morning, this will be bringing breezy south winds in the afternoon. Then a cold front will move into the Hudson Valley late Friday night, we’ll see showers and possible thunderstorms ahead of this cold front.  Once that front moves past the Hudson Valley, that will be bring more seasonal weather for the weekend.

Friday will feel a bit warmer with temps in the low 70’s and not that much sunshine.  The weekend will have plenty of sunshine and by Sunday the temps won’t even get out the 60’s.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 72.  A slight chance of showers and a possible thunderstorm by afternoon.

Friday night:  Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Low around 63.  South wind 9 to 11 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind 7 to 9 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. Light north wind.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.
