Coldplay has released the second single off their upcoming album A Head Full of Dreams. The single Everglow was debuted yesterday by Chris Martin on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. The latest single might be making more noise than the debut single as this track features frontman Chris Martins ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

According to Yahoo! Music Chris Martin told Rolling Stone that the song is about an enduring spark in a relationship. But the inspiration for the tune is a bit more unique Martin tells Lowe the inspiration came from a conversation with a surfer.

“I was in the ocean one day with this surfer guy, who spoke just like you’d imagine a surfer guy to speak,” Martin said. “This guy spoke like Sean Penn’s character from ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High.’ He was like, ‘Yo dude, I was doing this thing the other day man, it gave me this total everglow!’ I was like, ‘What an amazing word.‘”

Good luck with that Adventure of a Lifetime Coldplay....wahooo...wahooo...hooooo!
