Completely Unoriginal: MetalCore Band Covers a Top BuzzCut Track

As many of you are well aware, I'm in love with cover songs. It's fun to see how other artists try to work their own personal style into another artists original work. It's also awesome, however, when one artist tries to take an already awesome song and make it their own a little bit. The inspiration is obviously still there, but viewed through a very different lens.

twenty one pilots is currently KILLING it on the Buzzcuts with their song "Heathens". It's a little slow, extremely melancholy, and completely dark. It's very electronic, as most other pilots tracks.

Along comes Something You Whisper. They're obviously way more aggressive. THIS is a great example of an artist taking a great piece of art, and reworking to fit their own style while maintaining the core of what made the song great in the first place.

So, who did it better? twenty one pilots or Something You Whisper?
