Our Last Night is making quite a name for themselves for their covers of popular songs. Sometimes I feel like they've picked a song that might hamstring them, and not be able to fit it into their particualr style.

And if I'm honest, they almost lost me with the first verse. But the chorus hits with that guitar whine in the background and it felt much better. And then the second verse hits.

Holy moly. That's aggressive! I love when bands put new spins on something another artist first created, and Our Last Night begin to crush their version in the second verse. It's so much darker and aggressive. It's ominous and in your face.

I love both versions! The original will always be the one I go back to, but the cover is a pretty terrific change of pace.
