There has been a lot of talk lately about the federal spending bill that is expected to avert a government shut down. The bill is reportedly more than 1,600 pages long, so there has to be more to it, right?

If fact, there are quite a few things in the bill that people are just now finding out about. Huffington Post is reporting, one of the amendments in the bill prohibits the Department of Justice from going after medical marijuana operations in states that have legalized the plant for medicinal use.

So while the drug is still considered schedule 1 (no medical use), the federal government can no longer bust dispensaries in the 23 states that have legalized marijuana.

Do you agree with Congress, is this the right move? Will medical marijuana eventually be legal in all 50 states???
