A couple living in Orange County is accused of selling heroin to undercover officers on several occasions.

Detectives from the Monroe Police Department have been investigating reports of drugs being sold from a home in the Village of Monroe. During and undercover operation, police say an undercover officer purchased heroin, on several occasions, from two people who live at the home.

Tuesday morning the Monroe Police Department and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant. Officers allegedly found a quantity of heroin, illegal pills, cash and other undisclosed evidence.

40-year-old Robert Colquhoun and his girlfriend, 29-year-old Leigh Pupps, both of Monroe were arrested. Authorities say Colquhoun is a two time convicted felon and is currently on parole.

Both were charged with multiple counts of 3rd-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies. Both were remanded to the Orange County Jail.
