This could go in the creepy or the cool category. You get to choose. Here is info on one of the many inventions that Google has proposed. The company has filed a patent for a "smart teddy bear" that could watch your movements and listen to your conversations.

The patent apparently has been around for more than three years, but went largely unnoticed until it was spotted by tech firm "SmartUp." Google told the BBC that it holds a large number of patents, only a few of which are ever made into products. Critics say the device poses privacy concerns, especially since it concerns children.

The toys would be able to communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi. Patent paperwork proposes that such a toy-like device could serve as an "intelligent remote control" that makes managing home entertainment or automation systems simple.
